Did you know for the first time in a long time, it’s a great time to sell your home? First, there is a shortage of inventory in comparison to the number of buyer’s wanting to purchase. That’s great news. You always want the ball in your court. Secondly, interest rate are incredible right now. Historically low rate. Personally speaking, I am paying $1000 less on a mortgage that is $50,000 more than I was 10 years ago. Gotta love that. With the shortage of homes, and excess of buyers, homes are selling quick with generally 30 days closes. Even rent backs when you haven’t found a new “dream” house.
Short sales are getting easier too. The banks always seem to be about a year behind, but the highest number of homes on the market are fairly equal with Equity sales and Short Sales. Very few Bank Owned homes these day.
